Mankind has debated the existence of God, and Gods, since the earliest days when they sought to explain the natural marvels and miracles witnessed in their world. The truth is that there is a single being who orchestrated, designed, and implemented the world and the universe.
No one has seen God in a very long time. Not even the angels know where he is or what he is doing. He departed Heaven shortly after Lucifer was consigned to Hell and has not been seen since. Periodically, some angel or another will claim to have a message from God, but most of the time they are lying.
Before God departed Heaven he charged 9 of his angels, known as the Novarchy or the Nine Princes, with the governance of the world. These beings are mightier than most other Archangels and rule Heaven (and Earth?) in God's name.
