Darrion Beldar

"Just when you think you're finally clear of all of the shit thats going to get you killed or locked up, it seems nearly inevitable that something is going to draw you back into the mix. I thought we were clear of it, all debts settled, all grudges paid, everything was on the level and our businesses had finally gone full legit - good bye ATF, good bye FBI, good bye jail time and funeral's for brothers from violence.

But, I spose we're not here for peace or quiet living. When you step out of the bounds of social structure and law, those things no longer protect you and you cannot rely on them any longer. You can never go back, thats what my old man said before he split with my mom to Florida years ago. Once you cross the line, once you go outlaw, there is no real way back. Once an outlaw, always an outlaw.

When Thor's Hammers folded, we split, headed to Chicago and once we got there, I was able start a new MC and got us out of most of the shit that was killing us. We gave up everything to another outfit, everything but the guns at least and even that we were beginning to look at handing of. But I forgot something important: what we do, ripples outwards. We patched over the remainder of Thor's Hamemrs charters, got the new rules approved by a council of the presidents, and then we patched over a bunch of other MC's that were looking a little frail. What we did in Chicago, touched other charters of the Sons of Anubis. Denver in particular got hit from multiple gangs, from multiple sides all at once. When they reached out, I called a vote, to help out Denver or to stay put in Chicago. The vote was unanimous.

So, now we've packed up the charter, driven for two days, and now we're unpacking in Denver. Whatever happens next, we've got to get Denver stable, and put it's beefs to bed or six feet under. Because thats the only solution: blood or money. Nobody attacks the Son's and gets to walk away clean. That's Outlaw lesson one."

The Past

Darrion Beldar was the product of two different marriages. This first, between his mother and his biological father. The second his mother and her second husband. Darrion’s biological father was a Vietnam vet, a mechanic, and a Harley enthusiast and he started a motorcycle club with friends he met in the service. Anthony Beldar died when Darrion was 10 years old, killed in an ambush staged by a rival MC. Victor Madison became the new president of the Thor’s Hammers MC, and Darrion’s mother married Victor a year after Anthony was killed. Darrion grew up with the teachings of two different fathers which coincided in many ways, but differed in others.

Darrion graduated high school and then to honor his biological father, he joined up with the army where he spent a total of 6 years, finally leaving the service with an honorable discharge as a Staff Sergeant. After his discharge, Darrion returned to the life he had left behind. He patched into Thor’s Hammers and was Victor’s heir apparent when the time came to pass the gavel.

That day arrived two years later, with Victor and Darrion’s mother moving to Florida to retire, and with Darrion moving upwards and becoming president of the founding charter. After that, things went sideways. A combination of blowback for decisions, heat from the fed’s and pressure to earn all collided and ended up bringing down the MC. Darrion and the rest of his charter left Thors Hammers after the federal government classified them as a criminal organization and took down the bulk of the charters with RICO. In the aftermath, they created the Sons of Anubis, moved to Chicago, and there Darrion did his best to get the MC out of illegal business. He succeeded, to a point, handing off almost all of his illegal activities to a different gang and focused on investing in legitimate earning.

Then came the call from Denver.

The Present

Darrion moved his whole MC, his wife, their old ladies, everyone to Denver when the Denver charter started taking blows over the Sons' shift out of illegal enterprise. Despite his best efforts, Darrion has to take up the outlaw mantle he was hoping to leave behind in order to save Denver.

Now, as the Sons hit the streets once again, Darrion's sole objective is to put to bed the beefs that have arisen in Denver, as quickly as possible. This will likely entail a level of violence that the MC rarely gets into, something Darrion may not be able to walk back from before everything is said and done.
