Mikelle Calder

Fallen Name: Adremmalech

Lemariel was once an angel of battle, one of the Seraphim that guided the Praelia in victory and helped ensure that the warrior angels were in fitting form all the time in case the Lord should need them. But Lemariel fell, and in its place Adremmalech now exists. Adremmalech is a demon, one of the Princes of Hell, and is also one of the most determined beings in existence. Unlike some of its fellows, Adremmalech does not want to destroy humanity, and does not even really enjoy the fact that his fellows twist human souls into demons. He believes humanity is the gateway to greater things and to transcend this limited existence.

In short, Adremmalech wants to become a God, and humanity is his pathway to gripping that power for himself.

The Past

Mikelle Calder was a dutiful agent in RPIT, and for a while looked like he was going to ride the fast-track to an administrative position, but something went sideways. In order to keep his fighting edge, Mikelle turned to drugs to help him power through long stakeouts, or to give him a slight bit of an edge if he had to chase someone down. As the drugs ate into his very soul, his moral character began to degrade, until finally he was robbing people in shakedowns.

The Present

Then Adremmalech came. Adremmalech promised freedom, wealth, and power to Mikelle if only Mikelle would see fit to trade away something as inane and useless as his soul. Mikelle refused – he did not want money and power. Freedom though, he did want freedom and so Adremmalech took him, possessed him and now is him. Adremmalech bested the agent’s addiction to drugs, and then set about redeeming the mans career. Not because it would do the man good, but because Adremmalech believed that if he could climb higher in the system, he would have a higher chance of introducing the cult of Adremmalech into RPIT. An organization of people, and other beings, trained to do battle with the supernatural, all worshipping a demon.

Personality/Recent Events

Since Adremmalech took possession of Mikelle, the demon has managed to stop and reverse Mikelles downward trends and restored the human to the fast track of success. In his office he is viewed with mingled approval and respect, as well as a bit of pride and envy.
